Tim Hoffman has been a Pittsburgher for his entire adult life. After working at WPIC from 1986 to 1991, he gradated from Pitt in 1991 with a master of science in telecommunications and taught at nearby Carnegie Mellon University from 1999 to 2011. Tim has been teaching at Pitt ever since and is currently working on writing a textbook about C and Linux.
