University of Utah · United States简介
I am an Associate Professor and Associate Director for Research in the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah. I head the Scalable Software Systems Lab. My research is in distributed systems, operating systems, storage, cloud/datacenter systems, and hardware-software interfaces. I am interested in systems that make fast hardware practically useful: moving computation closer to data, reducing software overheads in low-latency systems, and rethinking memory, storage, and I/O interfaces for modern datacenters. Formerly, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the databases group at Microsoft Research. Before that, I earned my Ph.D. at Stanford University working as a part of the RAMCloud and the Secure Computer Systems labs. I received an NSF CAREER Award in 2018 and the NSF Preside
