Forrest Sheng Bao

简介

Dr. Forrest Sheng Bao's research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and medical signal/image processing. In AI, he works on natural language processing (NLP) such as natural language generation (NLG) metrics. In EDA, he works on using machine learning (ML) to solve circuit routing problems as well as hardware description languages (HDLs). In medical data analytics, his expertise is on electroencephalogram (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). His research has been funded by National Science Foundation (NSF), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), and Microsoft. He and his research have been covered by MIT Technology Review website and Lancet Neurology.
