Dr Christine Aicardi

Christine Aicardi originally trained in applied mathematics, computer sciences and project management, receiving a MEng from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris in 1987. She worked for many years in the Information and Communication Technologies industry, before returning to higher education as a mature student. Christine received her MSc in History of Science, Medicine and Technology from Imperial College in London in 2005 and her PhD in Science and Technology Studies at University College London in 2010. She was a Wellcome Trust Library fellow at UCL researching the contemporary history of neuroscience, before joining the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine in 2014. She was Senior Research Fellow in the Human Brain Project Foresight Laboratory until 2020, and is
