Benedict Oakes is a member of the Signal Processing Group, working on target tracking and machine learning. He earned an MPhys in Astrophysics from the University of Liverpool in 2020. He completed his PhD in reinforcement learning sensor management for satellite tracking in space situational awareness scenarios in 2026 at the University of Liverpool.
